Just started using my composter, [...], the people at Lifetime Products were great, [...]. In assembly there is one tough screw to install on each side, but got it done by myself, they replaced the plastic vent tube, that had been posted as a problem, in earlier reviews, with a metal one, due to the capacity of this unit it may be a problem to turn when it gets full, but their is no crank or handle that will break like the competitions tumblers that are on the market. I am happy with my purchase, and I will probably order more units

Okay look, I'm not easily impressed. I'm not a cynic exactly, but let's say I'm not surprised when things don't quite operate as advertised. I can tell you that I was actually a bit joyous as I put the unit together and I saw the obvious care that went into the design and the craftsmanship (how well the parts fit together). It was virtually fool proof. The time it took to put it together? I think of it as time well invested into a quality product. It's sturdy, provides easy access, and I feel like it'll be useful for quite awhile. And I even find turning it to be fun - a little mini-workout! Sometimes I pull it toward me, sometimes I push it away; what can I say? I just find it to be fun! And then there's the compost: oh yeah, that's what it's all about, isn't it? We've only been composting for a few months now and we're really pleased that we're doing something good for our garden and our community, and it couldn't be easier. The 'easier' part is so important to help build good intentions into a good habit. It's now a pleasure to tend to the compost 'pile'. I so appreciate this product that I bought another last week to replace a different model from another company. We've had the first one for about five weeks and would have gotten the second one sooner[...]

Nearly idiot proof instructions. Really nice design. Came in a relatively small box considering how large the thing is assembled. After reading several reviews I decided to get a galvanized pipe instead of using the PVC that comes with it... I figured the predrilled holes for ventilation were just kind of random...they were not. The holes on each end at least need to be spaced correctly. The parts are designed to fit together very well and you do not have to worry if you have pieces backward or are drilling the wrong end etc. Very well done. [...] I have not actually made compost with it yet since I just put it together yesterday but I like it it is large and has a decent opening for adding and removing stuff.

I have been wanting an enclosed composter that spins rather then needing a pitch fork. This one was a great price and works great. I am getting really exctied for my first batch of compost.
