Very easy to raise and lower. Very solid construction. My neighbors were impressed with the size and look of the goal. My kids love it. Highly recommend the 4" sleeve and pole pad. The directions to assemble were a little confusing. I am glad I went with this goal instead of a cheaper model. It took 2-3 hours to assemble the goal with 2 people.
